Bryan Steward

Bryan Steward is the managing member of The Steward Firm LLC, Attorneys & Counselors at Law. He practices in the areas of business and non-profit law, civil litigation, personal injury, and workers’ compensation.

Attorney Steward has over 30 years of corporate, legal, and higher education experience, including positions with several Fortune 500 companies. He has also served as an adjunct professor at multiple colleges and universities.

He served the citizens of Columbus, Ohio, in elected office as a member of the Columbus City Schools Board of Education, concluding his tenure as its vice president. He formerly served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Attorney Steward is active in his community and church and is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

A native of Columbus and a graduate of Columbus City Schools, Attorney Steward holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University’s College of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration degree from Franklin University’s Graduate School of Business, and a Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, and the National Bar Association.

Attorney Steward was recently included in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. He has also been selected to the National Lawyers of Distinction and Elite Lawyers. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Attorney Steward has been married to his wife, Shelly Ridley-Steward, for over 28 years, and together they are the proud parents of five adult children.
